Size and specs
Bed size The lying area itself. This is the room you actually have to stretch out, measured across the widest point of the bed.
7 ft. 7 in. L × 5 ft. 3 in. W
Overall length End to end, including the loops and hardware at each end. This is longer than the bed, so plan your space around this number.
11 ft 6 in
Stand length How much floor space the stand takes up. No trees or wall fixings needed.
10 ft. 6 in. to 12 ft.
Min hanging distance The closest your two anchor points can be. Trees or posts nearer than this and the hammock will not hang with a comfortable curve.
10 ft 2 in
Hanging height How high to mount the hardware on each end, not the height off the ground. Only matters when hanging between trees or posts, since a stand sets this for you.
5 ft 3 in
Weight capacity Total supported weight, counting everyone in the hammock at once.
355lbs
Material What the hammock is woven from. Cotton is softer; polypropylene dries faster and handles weather better.
100% GOTS-certified organic cotton
Product weight What the item itself weighs, without a stand. Useful if you plan to pack it or move it around.
4.2lbs
Colombian hammocksHandwoven in Colombia. The widest and most finely woven hammocks we carry.

Colombian weavers produce the finest, most even weave of anything we sell, and the beds run noticeably wider than most, so the Kingsize genuinely holds two people. You have a real choice of fabric here: organic cotton is softer and suits indoors or a covered porch, while the weather-resistant ranges are built to stay outside. Most Colombian hammocks are gathered-end and wrap around you; the Alisio range uses a spreader bar and lies flat instead.
