The U-shaped design cradles the hammock naturally, with five length settings to dial in the right tension for non-spreader-bar hammocks from 10 to 12.5 feet long. Note: This stand is designed specifically for non-spreader-bar hammocks such as Brazilian and Mayan styles. It will not work with rope or quilted hammocks that have spreader bars.
