Description

Bug protection built right into your hammock, so mosquitoes don't get to decide when your night outside is over.

The GrandTrunk Skeeter Beeter XT Mosquito Net Hammock combines a roomy single hammock with integrated No-See-Um bug netting for camping near lakes, in the woods, and anywhere insects can turn a comfortable night into a long one. A double-sided zipper makes getting in and out easy, while the included spreader bars help keep the netting up and away from your face.

  • Built-in bug protection: black No-See-Um nylon mosquito netting
  • Easy access: double-sided zipper for entry and exit
  • Versatile: flip it over to use it as a regular single hammock
  • Strong support: 400 lb. weight capacity

Why We Love It

This is a practical choice for campers who love sleeping in a hammock but don't love sharing it with mosquitoes. The integrated net eliminates the need to manage a separate bug net, and the reversible design means you can still use the hammock normally when insects aren't an issue.

Best for: warm-weather camping, lakeside campsites, wooded areas, buggy conditions, and solo hammock campers who want integrated insect protection.

Will It Fit My Space?

The hammock measures 10 ft. 6 in. long × 5 ft. wide and is designed for one person. Your required hanging span will depend on your anchor points and suspension system.

  • Using trees? Choose structurally suitable trees and a properly rated, tree-friendly hammock suspension system.
  • Need bug protection? Use the hammock with the integrated netting above you and the included spreader bars supporting the net.
  • No bugs around? Flip the hammock over and use it as a traditional single hammock.

What's Included?

  • Skeeter Beeter XT Mosquito Net Hammock
  • 2 nautical-grade carabiners
  • 2 aluminum spreader bars
  • Suspension cord for the bug-net system

Setup & Compatibility

Attach a properly rated hammock suspension system to suitable anchor points and connect the hammock using the included carabiners. Set up the included spreader bars and suspension cord to support the mosquito netting above the hammock. The Knotless Cordlock System is designed to simplify adjustment of the netting setup.

Before each use, inspect the hammock fabric, seams, netting, zipper, carabiners, suspension components, and anchor points.

Best possible option for wild river camping in Pennsylvania!

Took this bad boy on a river trip with no set camping spots - knew we’d need hammocks since we’d be camping on steep hillsides on the riverbank, and knew we’d need big nets as well (I am someone who gets chomped no matter what turbo chemicals I’ve used). Hammock is a breeze to set up after a single practice run. I was a little nervous about setting up a tarp over it since the bars for the mesh make it wider at the top, but it was no problem at all. Using an underquilt was tricky and I opted to do a low inflation on a sleeping pad inside the hammock instead, and there’s enough room for that to work too. Honestly what was I even doing before getting this???? Huge upgrade, huge quality of life improvement for wild camping! Keep a Tecnu wipe in the bag for your feet and you can happily camp above an ocean of poison ivy! Ask me how I know!

Skeeter Beeter XT Mosquito Net Hammock

I have only set up the hammock in my backyard so far. But it is great, and very comfortable! Yes, it can get little tedious setting up the poles and lines for the bug net, but it is worth it if you absolutely hate bugs!! Even when it’s not buggy out, flipping the hammock the other way works great too!
