Mantis All-in-One Camping Hammock Tent

I purchased this system in 2020 to do some backpack in the mountains in Boulder Co. I have never had a bad night sleep in this hammock. Pairing it with the firebelly under quilt and a top quilt it has been cozy even in freezing conditions. I've used it for motorcycle camping, traveling, hunting, and backpacking. After 6 years of good servicable use I decided to make a waranty claim through Kammok, I was not expecting much maybe a repair or replacement netting as a small hole formed and spred as time went on. Instead Kammock went above and beyond and sent me a new Mantis in the color of my choice. I will be taking this new Mantis on the Appalachain Trail for the 2026 season and would not care to do it with anything eles. See yall on the trail. Your friend Frair Tuck

First time hammock user on AT this June. I tested in my park a few different hammocks. The Kammock was the easiest, is all inclusive (hammock and bug net AND provided the carabiners. SO happy with this Kammock. On the trail I realized I could see the stars!!!! Did not know about the ‘stargazer panel’ until today when reviewing the specs to share with a friend. I HIGHLY recommend the Kammock!!!

Amazing product went winter camping with it and it kept me dry. Super awesome, only downside is the price. But you get what you pay for, which is excellence.

I love the Mantis. Super comfortable and the system works really well with the under quilt. There is a bunch of well thought out features that you don't realize you need, until you need them.

I ordered this hammock for a backpacking trip because it's much lighter than my other hammock. This Hammock is surprisingly well made, the zippers work great even when laying in the hammock. I like the dark mesh, it makes it easier to see out!
Being over 300 lbs, finding a comfortable hammock can be tough, this hammock is very comfortable and makes me confident that it won't fail me! I'm very happy with my Kammok Mantis!

I've never been a hammock camper but I got a good night's rest on the first outing and I'm sure it will only get better as I learn to tweak the setup.

I've never camped/slept in a hammock before but LOVED my experience with the Mantis on my overlanding trip this weekend. I didn't realize everything is packaged so well together, the stakes, the tarp, and the hammock, all together so conveniently. Takes seconds to setup, the netting kept the bugs out perfectly, and I discovered the lines are reflective so I didn't wipe out walking in the dark. I was super cozy and can't wait to use it again!

I'll bring a tent for downpours, but this Kammok Mantis is going to be my go-to and i'll try to not even set up a tent.

After initial unpacking you can identify this is a well thought out product, from assembly to ease of versatility, the best part is that it fits back into its original sack without any fuss. I will write another review after extensive use and rigorous testing.

This is a complete hammock system with: hammock, straps, enclosed bug net, and tarp. Very lightweight for a complete system. I have used it on a few hikes now and am very pleased with the setup. After a brief learning curve with setting up properly I have come to love hammock camping. It makes for a great night sleep off of the ground and out of the elements.

Packs tiny and light, no poles, comes with straps. Brilliant design and lovely materials. Strong but tender, quiet and soft. Colored zippers help with operation. Reflective guys brilliant with headlamp, if you trip on them, that’s ON YOU! Superbly easy fly setup, no knots and covers hammock once dialed in. (Brand name goes by head, narrower at foot. Interestingly, the logo is printed on the inside of the fly [backwards] so is subtle!). Get the Pongo pad for warmth and stability, again, wider at the head. Bug net brilliant! Stake pocket on exterior of integrated stuff sack uber clever. Just wish I was a hammock sleeper, I feel in love with the Mantis (as a motocamper it’s an excellent solution) but I’m an expansive sleeper. It didn’t feel claustrophobic, I just could get my side sleeping jam on…

I love this hammock. My only problem with it is that the stuff sack is a little to small for the hammock and the rainfly. You can put it in there but I would recommend you also get a cheep stuff sack for the rainfly to save your self some hard work breaking down camp everyday.

This hammock is really well made. Design and quality is excellent. The integrated bug net that is removable is great. I look forward to ordering all of the accessories for my setup and maximize the Mantis' potential.

Almost half of the year I have been sleeping outside. It was ok until I bought the kammok hammock!! Just wow, easy to install, the straps are amazing, I love the inflatable pillow and all the other accessories that I forgot the names.

Next things that I will buy are the underquilt and the inflatable mattress.

My cold Québec winter night will be more confortable.

Who knows, I might use my kammok kit for my other adventures with The Warrior Path and La Route des Guerriers.

Last one was 1000km during the cold 2021 winter. The next one will be 3000km

I love this hammock tent, I love how it all fits into one self-contained bag and I like how everything is very easy to put away. Setup takes some getting used to, but, it is very easy and quick to do after you do it a few times.

I love the Mantis because it has all the features I wanted. It is very lightweight and comfortable. I can't wait to get another one for my son.

I’ve recently gotten into backpacking and the one thing I wanted to make sure I got right was my sleep system. Choosing the Kammock Mantis was the best choice. Easy, quick, and simple to setup, combined with the comfortability and features of this hammock make it a no brained. Everyone in my group fell in love with it and I’ve hopefully converted them to Kammock when it comes time to upgrade their setup.

Would recommend for any level of backpacker.

I just bought my second Mantis all in one. As soon as my boyfriend got in it, there was no way I was getting it back. It’s 45 degrees right now and he’s out in the yard with my hammock and my brand new Firebelly. Absolutely one of the best backpacking purchases I’ve made. Hammock camping is the only way to go!

I really like the attached bag. It makes packing up very easy. All the hooks and draw string clips make setup very easy and quick. I have used this for two nights so far and have had no issue. I like having the gear pockets in each side. Only suggestion there would be to make the attack to the hammock body instead of the net. That way if u remove the net you still hav the pocket.
