Hangout Hammock Stand

This thing is hilarious! I opened the box and it was as tall as I am in the carry case, which does not zip open but has a draw string at one end. Making it hard to get out, granted I was putting it up in my den because it was raining and I couldn’t wait. The carry case is actually quite heavy on its own, which was strange. I was able to put it up quickly and easily, getting it in and out of the bag was probably the hardest part. It is not easy to carry if you are around 5ft tall. But it did set up easily. Since it is kind of mobile, I heard it has more of a tendency to rust so I don’t want to leave it outside but it is a difficult haul, so I’m afraid I haven’t used it much. It was nice though. I liked having multiple options to clip the hammock in.

I hammock camp and I buy gear. I do the later more often than the former. I bought the stand so I could try out the different hammocks that I buy. It’s easy to assemble, I love the connection points because they work with all my different hammocks, it’s long enough for my 11’ gathered end hammocks. Living in suburbia I sometimes hammock camp in the back yard to try out gear before taking it on the trail. One night while doing just that my neighbors were finishing a kitchen remodel at 10:30 pm, I opened the slider and wrestled the hammock stand into the living room. The plastic supports/stand-offs kept me from scuffing the wood floors. Simply put, I like this stand.

Most awesome thing I’ve ever experienced. Went to a camp that doesn’t allow hammocks and the stand was very simple to set up, very durable and extremely heavy duty feeling, yet very compact for what it is. Case is plenty big without having to fight pieces in. Sleeping bag hammock (synthetic one) has very nice insulation underneath and on top and stayed plenty warm at 45 degrees outside. Zipper feels strong and easy to do up or down. As an added bonus I would highly recommend the travel pillow too!! Love how it clips on to resist falling down during the night. Only downside is keeping others out of it because everyone wants to try it when they see it!!

Sturdy build meets simple assembly. The travel bag is top-notch. We bought two for our backyard! So easy to move from shady spot to shady spot. I reckon these would be righteous on the beach, but be ready to schlep some weight!

even though it’s a bit heavy for me to maneuver at 33lbs, it is a straightforward assembly and works well for my hammock. it’s very sturdy and is holding up well so far!

Bought this for our backyard and it’s perfect. My wife and I have been using it together enjoying some afternoons and reading books along with some nap time. Great product so far, no complaints so far.

Easy to assemble and convenient. My hammock didn’t fit on this though and would touch the ground when I sat in it. My hammock may have been stretched out but just be aware if your hammock is a 10 ft one it may be too big to use with the straps that come with this hammock stand

Easy to assemble, takes less than 5 minutes. Sturdy and well made, I never think it's gonna break even with 2 two people. The carrying case that comes with it is ok. The strap doesn't get short enough to rest at a comfortable height when carrying. I walked maybe half a mile with it and I feel like it could be better as a backpack.

Overall it's a good product. The 2 things I wish were different are:
1) the hammock could be adjusted tighter between the two ends.
2) there was some way of running a ridgeline to drape a tarp over the top.
