Description

An all-weather hammock sleep system with integrated bug protection and a waterproof rain shelter.

The Air Bivy combines the Skeeter Beeter XT hammock with the Hexfly Rain Shelter to create a suspended alternative to a traditional tent. The roomy single hammock includes no-see-um mosquito netting, while the waterproof fly helps protect the sleeping area from rain.

  • All-weather system: hammock, bug net, and rain fly work together
  • Bug protection: integrated no-see-um netting with double-sided zipper
  • Rain coverage: 11.7-foot Hexfly with 2000 mm waterproof coating
  • Flexible camping: avoids the need for flat or dry ground

Why We Love It

This is our complete Grand Trunk shelter pick for campers who want hammock comfort, insect protection, and rain coverage in one coordinated system.

Best for: overnight hammock camping, wet climates, buggy campsites, and tent-free sleeping.

Will It Fit My Space?

Choose two structurally suitable trees with enough clearance for the 10 ft. 6 in. hammock and its suspension. The rain fly spans approximately 11.7 ft. diagonally.

  • Hammock: 10 ft. 6 in. L × 5 ft. W
  • Rain-fly diagonal: 11.7 ft.
  • Hammock capacity: One person, up to 400 lbs.

  • Hexfly rain shelter
  • Two aluminum carabiners
  • Six lightweight aluminum stakes
  • Cords and cord locks for the rain fly and mosquito net

Not good.

I had high expectations. A little trouble setting up. Had no directions. Went to bed down for the night and thought I was centered well enough to enter and went over on my head and ripped multiple holes in the hammock. So much for a good nights sleep.

I've only set it up in my backyard but the ease of setup, roominess of the actual "cocoon" compartment. And quality of the materials it packs up easy and icant wait to use it on my trip to port austin next weekend! I've order countless other products from them and will review them as I get them!!!
